Brazilian Winemaking Association

The objective of the Brazilian Winemaking Association, founded in 1976,s to promote winemaking and develop relationships between the winemakers and consumers of that most refined of drinks, wine. In the course of its 30 year history, the association has carried out a series of actions with a view to achieving this objective. In this way, as well as encouraging the professional and technical exchanges among its members, the ABE has also become an international point of reference, and is constantly asked to send representatives to a wide variety of international wine competitions promoted by the International Vine and Wine Organisation (OIV).

The ABE became a member of the International Union of Winemakers (UIOE) in 1998.
