Asociación Nacional de Ingenieros Agrónomos Enólogos

The Asociación Nacional de Ingenieros Agrónomos Enólogos was set up in Santiago in 1954, with the participation of 16 members. Its first chairman was the agrarian and winemaking engineer Ruy Barbosa Popolisio.

Right from the start, the objective of the association has always been to support the interests of its members in relation to the development and prestige of the science and practice of winemaking in Chile. In the same way, the agronomists promote and sustain communication and interaction among the country's winemaking engineers and set up working relations with their colleagues throughout the world.
