Asociacion de Enologos de Uruguay

On 26th October 1964, the Association of Uruguayan Winemakers was set up, with specific objectives and aims. Today, the association brings together specialists from the entire country, 90% of whom are production managers.

The aims and objectives are to bring together all the graduates from the El Colorado School of Winemaking, with a view to developing the technical, social and cultural activities of the members and winemaking sector. It promotes congresses, conferences, symposiums, meetings, exhibitions, seminars, publications and similar initiatives. It develops appropriate relationships with similar associations at local and international level, and defends and promotes themes and projects of a technical nature.
